Conor McGregor vs Jake Paul simulation ends with shocking one-punch KO as fighter left motionless on canvas

Conor McGregor vs Jake Paul has been simulated – and it ends in the most unexpected fashion.

Paul claimed in December that McGregor’s management team have been ‘desperately’ trying to negotiate a fight with him.

This follows a viral social media post from McGregor, who claimed that he would be facing Logan Paul, Paul’s elder brother, in a boxing exhibition match in India.

McGregor, 36, hasn’t competed in MMA since July 2021 when he broke his leg against Dustin Poirier.

He was scheduled to face Michael Chandler at UFC 303 in June, but the fight was cancelled after McGregor injured his pinky toe.

READ MORE MMASince the injury, there has been speculation as to whether the former two-division champion will ever return to the octagon.

McGregor’s return was delayed even further in November when he was found liable for assaulting Nikita Hand at a Dublin hotel in 2018.

During McGregor’s time recovering from injury, YouTuber-turned-professional boxer Paul has fought and beaten one the greatest boxers of all time.

His fight with Mike Tyson, which turned out to be a dull affair as Tyson landed a mere 18 punches throughout the fight, drew $18million in gate revenue from 72,300 fans in the AT&T Stadium, Texas.

The event was also broadcast live on Netflix, and although the American streaming service came across several issues, over 60 million households tuned in worldwide.

Considering the amount of people who watched the mismatched heavyweight clash, it’s incomprehensible to imagine how many people would buy McGregor vs Paul, as the former would actually be the favourite for the fight.

In the fantasy bout, simulated on the popular video game UFC 5 made by EA Sports, Paul immediately catches McGregor with a huge left uppercut before going on the offensive.

As the opening stanza continues, Paul attempts numerous takedowns, which his Irish counterpart defends well in similar style to his 2018 defeat to Khabib Nurmagomedov.

However, towards the end of round one McGregor starts to bleed from his mouth as he fails to overcome his size disadvantage.

Despite the fact the fight takes place in MMA, both men trade knockdowns in what turns out to be a dominant first round for Paul, who successfully lands his first takedown of the bout in the final 10 seconds.

Both men come out firing in the second, with McGregor masked in blood as he attempts to better his first round performance by landing some vicious ground-and-pound.

Not many fans anticipate this would ever be the eventual outcome should the pair meet, but we have seen Paul knockout UFC fighters in the past.

The 26-year-old American knocked out former UFC champion Tyron Woodley in the pair’s 2021 rematch after doing the same to Ben Askren eight months prior.

If Mcgregor vs Paul ever does happen, a boxing bout seems most likely, but Paul has discussed a transition to MMA in 2025 since signing with the PFL.
