Cowboys injuries: Zack Martin, Jake Ferguson ruled out vs Giants
The Dallas Cowboys will be home for the holidays as they play the New York Giants on Thanksgiving. The Cowboys have yet to win at home this season. Their roster will be tested as their injury report shows many of their players as questionable or unavailable. Here’s the last injury report of the week.
Jake Ferguson has not practiced since he suffered a concussion against Houston and has not practiced this week. He has been ruled out. Eric Kendricks (groin/shoulder) and Marshawn Kneeland (knee) did not practice today and the former has been designated as questionable, the latter has been listed as doubtful. Zack Martin (ankle/shoulder) was a DNP on Wednesday, and has been ruled out.
Trevon Diggs (groin/knee) was listed as questionable to play versus New York. Some players practiced fully and carry no injury status for tomorrow’s game. Among those are Cooper Rush (knee), Tyler Guyton (shoulder) and Tyler Smith (ankle/knee). CeeDee Lamb (back/foot), was removed from the injury report.
Additionally, Caelen Carson (shoulder), who was downgraded yesterday and did not practice today was placed on injured reserve along with Asim Richards (ankle). In a corresponding move, Dallas activated Brandin Cooks from injured reserve.
For New York, quarterback Tommy DeVito (right forearm) is questionable to start tomorrow’s game. Giants coach Brian Daboll has said that he is not positive DeVito will play tomorrow and although he will join the team in Dallas, he did not practice today. New York has removed the injury status from linebacker Micah McFadden (thumb/heel) and Evan Neal (hip). Cornerback Tae Banks (rib) is listed as questionable. Meanwhile, Jermaine Eluemunor (quad) and edge rusher Azeez Ojulari (toe) will not play. Eluemunor has been ruled out and Ojulari will go on injured reserve. Defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence (knee) will play tomorrow.
