Jerry Jones thinks the New York Giants are on the right track.
During an appearance on 105.3 The Fan following his Dallas Cowboy’s 20-15 victory over the New York Giants, Jones praised the Giants and declared that the rival was a “tough matchup” for his team.
Jon Machota @jonmachotaCowboys owner Jerry Jones on @1053thefan: “I was very impressed with the Giants. I thought their quarterback was better than I thought he was. They were a tough matchup. I was impressed. … I thought we did a heck of a job defending their run. … I’m tickled to death.”

The Cowboys improved to 2-2 on the season with the victory while New York fell to 1-3. Still, the Giants showed some fight for the second consecutive week.
Quarterback Daniel Jones went 29-of-40 for 281 yards and one interception while wide receiver Malik Nabers had a strong day, making 12 catches for 115 yards. Kicker Greg Joseph was the star of the day, making five field goals to account for all of the team’s scoring.
The defense allowed just 293 yards and two touchdowns to a Cowboys offense spearheaded by Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb.
While Dallas could take the close margin of victory as a negative, Jones appears to be taking a positive approach and knows that the second game against New York could be another tough one.
