The anime DAN DA DAN will be here on October 3. Ahead of this, three special commercials have dropped, along with more info on the cast. Plus there is this visual.

Each commercial has a theme to it. This one gives us a taste of the show’s battles.

This commercial shows that DAN DA DAN also has some romance going on.

And the third and last commercial gets in the occult vibes.

As for the just-revealed voice talents, Ryuzaburo Otomo plays Flatwoods Monster, Kikuko Inoue plays Acrobatic Silky (a.k.a. Acrobatic Sarasara), Tomokazu Seki plays Dover Demon, Tomokazu Sugita plays Taro, and Fumi Hirano plays Hana.

It had previously been revealed that Shion Wakayama plays Momo Ayase, Natsuki Hanae plays Okarun, Mayumi Tanaka plays Turbo Granny, Kazuya Nakai plays Serpoian, Nana Mizuki plays Seiko, Ayane Sakura plays Aira Shiratori, and Kaito Ishikawa plays Jiji.

DAN DA DAN is being made at Science SARU, with Fuga Yamashiro, an assistant director for Tatami Time Machine Blues, helming the project as director. The scripts are being both penned and supervised by Hiroshi Seko, whose credits include Attack on Titan The Final Season, Jujutsu Kaisen, and Chainsaw Man.

VIZ Media publishes the original manga by Yukinobu Tatsu as Dandadan and gave this description for the first volume:

DAN DA DAN Plot

Momo Ayase strikes up an unusual friendship with her school’s UFO fanatic, whom she nicknames “Okarun” because he has a name that is not to be said aloud. While Momo believes in spirits, she thinks aliens are nothing but nonsense. Her new friend, meanwhile, thinks the exact opposite. To settle matters, the two set out to prove each other wrong—Momo to a UFO hotspot and Okarun to a haunted tunnel! What unfolds next is a beautiful story of young love
and oddly horny aliens and spirits?
