‘Dandadan’ Unveils Additional Staff, First Promo

The official website for the television anime adaptation of Yukinobu Tatsu’s Dandadan manga revealed on Saturday additional staff, key visual (pictured), and the first promotional video. The anime is scheduled to premiere in October 2024 on MBS and TBS’ Super Animeism TURBO programming block.

Fuuga Yamashiro (Eizouken ni wa Te wo Dasu na! assistant director) is directing the anime at Science SARU. Hiroshi Seko (Chainsaw Man) is handling the series composition, and penning the script. Naoyuki Onda (Inuyashiki) is designing the characters, and Kensuke Ushio (Devilman Crybaby) is composing the music.

Tatsu began serializing the manga on the Shounen Jump+ web magazine in April 2021. Shueisha published the 13th volume on January 4 and will ship the 14th volume on April 4.

VIZ Media licensed the manga in English in February 2022. The sixth volume went on sale on January 9, with the seventh volume scheduled for an April 9 release. Shueisha is also publishing the manga in English on its Manga Plus website and app.
