Tom Aspinall reacts to Tommy Fury vs Darren TillSince being released by the UFC last year, Darren Till has been training for big boxing fights.
In July, his boxing debut ended in a farcical second-round TKO win and a post-fight brawl.
Now heās been booked to fight the only man to beat Jake Paul, Tommy Fury, on January 18.
Tom Aspinall is better placed than most to predict the crossover bout after training with both men through the years.
The interim UFC heavyweight champion admits heās got no clue how it will go, but heāll be sitting in the front row when the fight goes down in Manchester, England, early next year.
In an exclusive interview with Bloody Elbow, he said: āAs far as predictions and stuff, itās kind of difficult for me to say because Iāve known Tommy for a long, long time, but Iāve not actually trained with him since he was about 18. So, Iāve not sparred with him or anything like that for a long time.
āAlso, Till, I used to spar him in MMA, and boxing is a different sport. Itās hard. From a personal point of view, I donāt really know how they match up in the sport of boxing. Till actually has really, really good hands.
āI think itās a good fight either way. Iām gonna be there. I will be there. Itās at the Co-Op live [Arena] as well. I love the Co-Op Live, so Iāll be there supporting. It will be a fun event.ā
