In a press release, Data.Bet said the deal will see it provide its odds feed, bet builder, video streams and other engagement tools across major esports markets. This will initially focus on Counter–Strike 2, Dota 2, Valorant, and League of Legends, but may expand to include more titles in the future, as well as more of Entain’s worldwide brands.

Otto Bonning, Head of Sales at Data.Bet commented, ā€œThis partnership sets a high bar for product excellence.Ā

ā€œOur role is to power that ambition with an esports layer that’s rich in content and strong on risk, enabling consistent margins and a best-in-class customer experience.Ā

ā€œWe’ve aligned on a clear roadmap to scale, with more Entain brands scheduled to join the rollout next.ā€

The company recently expanded its esports betting markets to offer wagering on 2XKO. It now has over 30 disciplines and over 10,000 monthly events.Ā

Entain Reports Strong Growth in International Markets

Entain reported positive numbers in its recent Q3 results, noting double-digit growth in some of Enatin NCE’s countries, such as Austria. BetMGM, the company’s joint venture with MGM, also continues to perform well.Ā

CEO Stella David stressed that advancing technology and international diversification were key to the company’s strategy. She stated, ā€œOur technology underpins everything we do and all of this hard work is focused on delivering for our customers.Ā

ā€œImportantly, our efforts continue to deliver results. Entain is back to consistently delivering growth. Growth was seen across our portfolio, including the UK, Italy, Croatia, New Zealand, Georgia, Spain, Canada, Austria and Greece.ā€Ā

European markets may become increasingly important if the UK raises gambling taxes this month as expected. David has rallied against the proposed increase, warning that it will lead to more customers using black market sites.Ā

David cited the example of the Netherlands where a recent tax increase has damaged Entain NCE in the country, leading to reduced revenue and a higher share of users turning to offshore sites.
