Davante Adams gatecrashes Aaron Rodgers interview to reveal when he’s back from injury
Aaron Rodgers was fuming after a 23-20 defeat to the Buffalo Bills on Monday Night Football.
The New York Jets began their new era under interim head coach Jeff Ulbrich with defeat days after Robert Saleh’s dismissal.

He later claimed that Williams ran the wrong route.
“It’s two vertical [routes]. Allen [Lazard] is down the seam and Mike is down the red line,” said the frustrated quarterback.
MORE ON NFL”I’m looking at Allen, he puts his hand up and three guys go with him. So I’m throwing a no-look to the red line.
“And when I peek my eyes back there, [Williams] is running an in-breaker. He’s got to be on the red line. It’s the little things every single time.”
Rodgers is notorious for feeding the receivers he trusts, which explains why former Green Bay Packers teammate Lazard, who caught an incredible hail mary on Monday, has 354 receiving yards and a team-high five touchdowns.
And now he is linking up with another Packers favorite Davante Adams after the Jets gave up a conditional third-round pick to rescue him from the Las Vegas Raiders.
Rodgers and Adams appeared on Tuesday’s episode of The Pat Mcafee Show and the superstar passer is thrilled to be working alongside his old friend.
“Tay is one of my closest friends in the league and I’ve been fortunate in 20 years to meet a lot of lifetime friends,” he said.
“Tay’s right at the top of the list of guys that I really care about that are family to me.

“But Tay and I’ve done a lot of great things over the years. He’s made me look good. A lot of times. So I’m really excited about it.
“I think it’s exciting for our team, you know, we definitely got better today.”
Adams’ arrival will push Williams down the pecking order after his mistake against the Bills.
“I wasn’t calling Mike out for anything other than his responsibility and the details on that play,” Rodgers explained.
“I have a lot of love and respect for Mike. He does some nice things for us, but on that play he wasn’t in the right spot.
“You can make more of that if you want to, but we all should be held to a standard.
“I hold myself to a standard of greatness, and when it hasn’t been there, I’ve stood up there and said I got to play better.
“Hopefully that’s an example for everybody else, to start with themselves.”
Garrett Wilson may not be the main receiver in New York due to Adams’ arrival.
But the move is a huge boost for the Jets’ Super Bowl ambitions.
Rodgers and Adams spent eight years together in Green Bay, racking up 615 completions for 7,517 yards and 68 touchdowns.
The wideout has not played since Week 3 with a reported hamstring injury after requesting a trade.

Wilson was the Offensive Rookie of the Year in his debut seasonBut the Jets are hopeful they can have him on the field as the Jets return to primetime against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Monday.
“I’m feeling great,” he told McAfee about his injury.
“I’ve been working with the staff in Vegas the whole time. They’ve got me right and I’m ready to roll.”
Adams was not with the four-time MVP for his first and only Super Bowl triumph in 2011.
