Dee Bostics Love, Lies & Lab Coats Volume 1 is a medical drama that centers on two former friends Travis and Brent. Both used to go together at a medical school until Travis had to stop pursuing his dream due to his manic depression. Traviss dropping out of school made Brent furious as he promised to make Traviss professional life miserable in the future.

Fast forward, Travis works as a chief medical technologist at the prestigious South Hill Medical Center. He had a good life and work romance with his colleague Cindy. One day, Brent went in to accept the post as the chief cardio-thoracic surgeon at the medical center, resulting in a bitter reunion between the two. Brent now works to ruin Traviss career as he promised. The two embark on their journey with medical, personal, and romantic challenges on their day-to-day.

IndieReader Review states that the book has discussions of how important good nutrition is; how much better characters feel when they start eating right and exercising; how most health problems are self-inflicted and could be solved with proper diet, exercise, and positive thinking; and so on. Its a useful message quite necessary in the modern era.

The review body added, Dee Bostics LOVE, LIES AND LAB COATS has a solid message to give readers about good nutrition and positive thinking.

Authors Biography:

Born in Brooklyn and raised in Long Island City, New York, Dee decided to join the Air Force to pursue higher education. After graduating from Eastern Washington University in Cheney, Washington, Dee began her career as a Medical Technologist. She spent many years working as a generalist in Chemistry, Hematology, Immunology, and Blood Bank and several more as a Phlebotomy and Night Shift supervisor. She loves the challenges of being a Medical Technologist and came full circle after accepting an evening shift position in the Microbiology Department at The National Institutes of Health. One of her lifelong ambitions has always been to write novels. After spending sixteen years in Washington State and relocating to the Washington D.C. metropolitan area, she noted the differences between the two and felt she had a unique perspective on being African American in a predominately White society. This became the driving force for this novel. Her other interests include organic gardening, reading, traveling, and working with senior citizens.
