Deion Sanders says Buffaloes must be prepared for Wyoming’s toughness
Deion “Coach Prime” Sanders made it clear this week that Colorado must be ready for a battle when the Buffaloes meet Wyoming.
“They’re physical up front,” Sanders said. “I feel like offensive line and defensive line, these guys are physical up front. They’re coached well, man. I know that’s a cliché, but they really are coached well. They’re not going to make a lot of mistakes. I don’t think they’re going to beat themselves. You’re going to have to beat them. They want to win.”
Sanders added that opponents view Colorado as a chance to showcase themselves on a national stage.
“You got to understand, when you’re playing against us, that’s, you know, not that we’re all that, but it’s a chip…you’re going to be on television, you’re going to get a chance to shine in front of a national audience, and you want to dominate us. That’s the thing. And we just got to be prepared for that thought process.”

“Normally first day of the weeks are the worst days of practice. And I don’t condone that whatsoever. So we change it up to keep it a little lifelike. And we don’t have a long practice, long tenuous practice, but we get a lot done, [just] walking through as well as full speed.”
With Wyoming up next, Sanders’ message was simple; Colorado must match toughness with toughness and discipline with discipline.
