Dennis Rodman Reveals North Korean Leader’s Longing Wish That Was Discovered In Infamous Donald Trump Meet

Not many on this planet can boast a friendship with Kim Jong Un, but Dennis Rodman has always been exceptional. What started off with a single visit to the North Korean leader turned into a good friendship soon. In fact, as revealed by The Worm on a recent episode of Got Sole podcast, he has met Kim 7 times so far.

During the podcast, the 5x NBA champ also reflected on him setting the sea for former President Donald Trump to meet Kim. In fact, during the well known meeting between the two leaders in Singapore in 2018, Rodman was himself present in the room. Not only did he receive the pass to visit North Korea anytime he wants from Kim, but also learned about one wish that the North Korean leader had for his visit to America.

“He said to me, ‘if I could have one wish, I would like to go to America and go to the Madison Square Garden,’” Rodman said on the podcast. However, the 6x All Star was surprised that his new friend would not rather choose Chicago as his destination. At first, this may sound like Dennis Rodman’s love for the Chicago Bulls. But it turns out even Kim Jong Un shares the same love for the franchise.

Earlier during the podcast, The Worm revealed that upon his first visit to North Korea, Kim had told Rodman that the Bulls were his favorite. The fact he invited Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen before Rodman is a testament to this. It’s a different thing that both of them declined and 2x DPOY said yes, confusing the visit for a signing event or something.

The confusion surely earned him a friend that most in the world would not even think of. And no matter what the global opinion is, the ex-NBA star has often praised Kim. “You have a friend for life” — he once told Kim. They bonded well. Though it’s a different thing that The Worm got his friend’s daughter’s name all wrong.

North Korea is known for shrouding its leadership in mystery. But it gave the global media a rare glimpse of Kim’s daughter in 2022 during a missile test. Since then, she’s been referred to as “Ju-ae”. But it turned out that name was a misunderstanding. Thanks to Dennis Rodman!

Dennis Rodman spilling secrets—what do you think about Kim Jong-un’s surprising wish revealed during Trump’s meeting?

Have an interesting take? The former NBA star with a well-known friendship with Kim allegedly made a crucial error during a visit to North Korea. According to Choe Su-yong, a South Korean intelligence official, Kim introduced his daughter to Rodman using the Korean term “jeo-ae,” which means “that girl.”

Rodman, however, thought this was her name and shared it with the media as such. Since then, the name has stuck, leading everyone to call her something that might not be correct at all! In fact, her real name could be “Eun-ju,” as mentioned by Choe Su-yong. But it’s clear the minor misunderstanding is doing nothing against the kind of bond that Dennis Rodman and Kin Jong Un have developed.
