Despite Adoring Patrick Mahomes’ Dallas Mavericks Support, Fans Jeer Travis Kelce’s Appearance Post Trespass

The Dallas Mavericks and the Minnesota Timberwolves are going head-to-head in Game 3 of the Conference Finals. Guess who’s there to support his favorite NBA team. That’s right, Patrick Mahomes and his wife Brittany have been cheering for the native squad and it’s old news by now. What’s new news is that Travis Kelce is also there to support the Mavs.

However, the Chiefs’ Tight End didn’t get the reception that he hoped and the fans at the American Airlines Center had grievances against Kelce for some reason. Kelce getting violated at the NBA game became one of the highlights of the event.

MLFootball uploaded a snippet of the game with captions, “DAMN… Travis Kelce was booed at the Mavericks playoff game tonight while there was LOUD CHEERS for Patrick Mahomes.” The video shows Travis Kelce on the jumbotron when he realized he was in focus. But to his surprise, the Chiefs TE would receive loud boos from the fans. But for Patrick Mahomes circumstances were different.

As the crowd expressed disappointment in Kelce, the camera immediately shifted focus to Patrick Mahomes and his wife. The Chiefs QB embraced the love, stood up, and asked the fans to make more noise for the home team. It seems like Patrick Mahomes did a great job saving his friend by distracting the crowd to focus on him.

Travis Kelce looked surprised upon not receiving love from the Dallas Mavericks fans. A couple of fan reactions revealed why Kelce got such a reaction from the crowd. One fan wrote, “One is a Texan, and the other is from Ohio,” while another said, “Kelce is wearing waffles yoga pants and looks like a fruit.” Another fan was nice enough to support the Super Bowl winning TE when he wrote, “Kelce didn’t do nothing wrong.”

But it is Patrick Mahomes who might have sparked a feud in the first place.

Is Patrick Mahomes responsible for Travis Kelce getting booed?In an attempt to beat the off-season blues, Kelce went to the NHL playoff game between the Dallas Stars and the Edmonton Oilers. A few hours ago, a video of Kelce came out watching the game from the suite and it caught the eye of Dallas Stars. They even offered him a Stars jersey with his name on it.

The Stars posted a snippet of Kelce nodding and smiling in the booth and captioned it, “We’ve got a Blank Space (on the back of a Stars jersey), and we’ll write your name @killatrav 😉.” The video was enough to attract the 3x Super Bowl champ’s attention and he took to X immediately and jokingly warned Kelce to stay out of the American Airlines Center.

“Yo get out of my arena!!@tkelce😂😂😂 go @DallasStars!!!” wrote Mahomes in an attempt to keep Kelce out of his home stadium. But Kelce had some witty comments to throw at Mahomes too. In a reply, Kelce wrote, “😂😂😂 gotta love playoff hockey baby!!! You’ve never even skated!”
