Devoted Philanthropy Expert and Author Dr. Susan Gitelson Seeks Sponsors for New Advocacy with UPLIFT

Through her long career in business and academia, Dr. Susan Aurelia Gitelson has confronted a glaring misconception about philanthropy: that its an exclusive billionaires club. It is an idea that she has been tackling personally in her own work on the subject, and she had gone as far as to publish a book dedicated to dispelling this myth, titled Giving is Not Just for The Very Rich. Today, she has partnered with another advocacy group, using her books platform to call in more support.

All donors share a desire to improve life and create equality of education opportunity for all. How the reader can do it is what Gitelson explains in clear and precise prose. This book is compelling reading for young and old and illuminates the path to helping others while enriching ones own life.

Since she was very young, Dr. Susan Aurelia Gitelson has worked closely with the world of philanthropy ever since it was introduced to her by her father. Yet even as she pursued this great work with her across her careers in business and academics, she had to frequently dispel one misconception: that philanthropy is a rich mans hobby.

It is for that reason that she came out with the book Giving is Not Just For The Very Rich: A How-To Guide For Giving And Philanthropy. It serves as a rare, up-to-date guide on many of the worlds charitable organizations and what it actually takes to start giving and working with each one.

Giving is Not Just For The Very Rich includes an extensive list of practical tips for readers of any income bracket. They are also organized under categories for those who want to narrow down to a particular field they want to support (be they sports charities, religious groups, think tanks, etc).

Dr. Gitelson has been spearheading efforts to use the book to build her platform as an author and do more for many charitable initiatives. She has had her work featured at various publishing tradeshows and has done talks for several more.

Recently, she has partnered up with San Diego-based ministry UPLIFT and is now looking for more sponsors for her advocacy. Those who would like to learn more about her work and reach out can visit her website at https://www.susanaureliagitelson.com/.
