The male producer who sued Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs for sexual assault and harassment has added actor Cuba Gooding, Jr. to the list of defendants.Music producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones, who sued Sean “Diddy” Combs for sexual assault and harassment in February, has amended his lawsuit to include actor Cuba Gooding Jr. as a defendant. Gooding was previously named in the lawsuit, but was not counted among the list of defendants.

Jones initially filed his lawsuit on February 26, claiming that Gooding was among those who sexually harassed and assaulted him on Combs’ yacht. The allegations against Gooding haven’t been amended within the complaint, but as of March 25 — the same day two of Combs’ properties were raided by Homeland Security amid an ongoing sex trafficking investigation — Gooding is now named as a defendant.

A producer on Combs’ latest album, Jones alleges that Combs and several associates engaged in illicit activity, including procuring and taking drugs, and soliciting sex workers, some of whom were underage. Jones’ lawsuit accuses Combs of “grooming him to pass off to his friends,” one of whom was allegedly Gooding, who is said to have sexually harassed and assaulted him.

The amended lawsuit lists Gooding as a co-defendant alongside Combs, Combs’ adult son Justin, their Love Records imprint, Motown Records, and Universal Music Group.

After federal agents raided Combs’ properties in Miami and Los Angeles, details have emerged from sources close to the matter, including that firearms were found at both properties, and Homeland Security Investigations seized Combs’ phones in Miami before he departed for a trip to the Caribbean.Details remain relatively sparse, but reports claim the raid was connected to the allegations of sex trafficking and sexual assault, as well as the solicitation and distribution of illegal firearms and narcotics, which have emerged in the several lawsuits filed against Combs in recent months. Three women and one man have been interviewed by federal agents in Manhattan in connection to the investigation, and several people were questioned outside Combs’ properties, including two of his adult sons.

A representative for Homeland Security Investigations told media outlets that they had “executed law enforcement actions as part of an ongoing investigation,” and would “provide further information as it becomes available.”

Attorneys for Combs have called the raids on his properties “a gross overuse of military-level force,” and there was “no excuse for the excessive show of force and hostility,” continuing to brand the investigation as a “witch hunt.”
