Drew Barrymore reveals she had her 10th birthday party at a bar in NYC

Drew Barrymore is making light of her troublesome childhood.

The actress, 49, revealed she spent her 10th birthday partying a little too hard at a New York City bar during Friday’s episode of her eponymous talk show.

In an interview with Bobby Cannavale and Rose Byrne, the “Charlie’s Angels” star jokingly told the crowd about her party-filled youth as they talked about the odd jobs Cannavale worked before he found fame as an actor — which included working the door at the famed haunt Limelight.

“I went to Limelight, I had my 10th birthday party at Limelight,” Barrymore shared.

“I had been going to clubs for three years at that point,” she continued. “I went to Studio 54, I went to Limelight, I went to Nell’s. You name it, I was there.”

In April, she opened up about breaking the cycle of alcohol abuse in her famous family by choosing to live a sober lifestyle.

Drew’s famous father is legendary actor John Barrymore. Her aunt and uncle are Oscar winners Ethel and Lionel Barrymore. Their father, John Barrymore Sr., was a very high-profile actor of the 1920s and ’30s.

“I think, for me, stopping drinking is one of the most honoring things I can do to the Barrymore name because we have all been such hedonists,” the star, who completed a rehab stay for drug and alcohol addiction at an early age, told People.

“Don’t look to me as the pillar of health and wellness and having it all together,” she warned.

“It’s just like, you know what? This didn’t work for our family, and I’m going to stop it. I’m going to be the one to break the link in that chain and maybe my kids and their kids will be better off for it.”
