Drew McIntyre won the World Heavyweight title at WrestleMania but his reign lasted just minutes thanks to Damian PriestCredit: WWEBut as the newly crowed champ took his prize to ringside to goad rival CM Punk who was on commentary, Punk turned the tables and attacked McIntyre.

Punk dished out a beating using his protective arm brace, with a prone McIntyre then set upon by Damian Priest who cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase in a shocking turnaround.

Rolling Drew into the ring and hitting a South of Heaven chokeslam, Priest scored a pinfall to win the title for the first time, and end McIntyre’s reign after just a couple of minutes.

Pat McAfee, also ringside on commentary, couldn’t contain his shock, exclaiming “holy s***!” on air.

In a foreshadowing of what would await him later, the Ayr native hit Rollins with a Claymore immediately after the opening bell – one of four he’d go on to deliver during the match.

McIntyre himself survived a Pedigree and a Stomp through a table, but recovered to secure a huge win.

He then set his sights on Punk once more, throwing the gold on the commentary table and getting in the former world champion’s face before standing above him.
