Dua Lipa Wore Her Strapless Minidress Low Enough to Show Off Her Hello Kitty Bra

Dua Lipa has long since abandoned her demure style era style era in favor of the loud and risqué looks we’ve always loved to see from her. The pop star’s latest Austin City Limits ensemble was no exception.

If you thought her bottle-cap vest and leather hot pants were a fun take on Western style, just wait until you see what she wore for “round 2” of the Texas music festival. On October 12, Lipa shared a teaser of what’s to come, ditching her cowgirl aesthetic and going full cartoon club rat–or should we say, club Kitty?

Based her Instagram slideshow, Lipa danced the night away in a white minidress with a neon garter detail, which she pulled down low enough to show off her butter yellow Hello Kitty-shaped bra with clear plastic straps. She topped off the look with black knee-high boots and a matching shoulder bag, keeping her Katie Jane Hughes makeup look minimal in comparison to everything else.

“The Hello Kitty bra slay,” one fan commented on the look, while another wrote, “the dress and hello kitty bra is everythingggg.” I mean, what better way to celebrate the cartoon character’s 50th anniversary, which took place earlier this summer? In fact, this look would be the perfect ‘fit for a Hello Kitty rave, which is a thing that exists.

Of course, this kind of look is not particularly outlandish for Dua Lipa. It’s been just under two years since she wore GCDS’ iconic Spongebob Squarepants net dress featuring crocheted Patrick Star nipple pasties. As the chronically online might say, we are SO back.
