Eagles-Cowboys inactives: Azeez Ojulari and Ty Robinson among healthy scratches
The Philadelphia Eagles officially announced the inactives list for their 2025 NFL Week 1 game against the Dallas Cowboys.
The following Eagles players WILL NOT PLAY: Tanner McKee, Azeez Ojulari, Ogbo Okoronkwo, Ty Robinson, Drew Kendall, Cameron Williams, and Kenyon Green.
McKee was ruled out on Wednesday. The Eagles did not temporarily elevate or sign Kyle McCord to the roster. This means that Jalen Hurts will start and Sam Howell will be his backup. The Eagles will have to use a non-quarterback at QB if both of those guys get injured.
Ojulari and Okoronkwo are healthy scratches behind four active edge rushers: Nolan Smith, Jalyx Hunt, Joshua Uche, and temporarily elevated from the practice squad Patrick Johnson. Johnson provides more special teams value than Ojulari and Okoronkwo.
Robinson being a healthy scratch doesn’t seem ideal since he’s an old rookie. But the Eagles are pretty loaded with defensive tackle depth and he’s the sixth man behind Jalen Carter, Moro Ojomo, Jordan Davis, Gabe Hall, and Byron Young.
Kendall, Williams, and Green are depth offensive linemen. Fred Johnson, Brett Toth, and Matt Pryor are the three backups behind the starting five blockers.
