Eagles Injury Report: Brandon Graham sounds optimistic about playing in the Super Bowl
The Philadelphia Eagles held their first practice in preparation for Super Bowl LIX on Thursday afternoon. Hereâs the latest injury news.
The Eagles listed 10 players under DID NOT PARTICIPATE: DeVonta Smith, Cam Jurgens, Landon Dickerson, Moro Ojomo, Kenny Gainwell, Dallas Goedert, Saquon Barkley, A.J. Brown, Nolan Smith, and Eli Ricks.
DeVonta, Jurgens, Dickers, Ojomo, and Gainwell all missed practice due to injury. To this point, thereâs no indication theyâre in serious jeopardy of not suiting up for the Super Bowl.
Goedert, Barkley, and Brown have ârestâ included in their designations. Theyâll be good to go.
Nolan and Ricks missed practice due to illness.
The Eagles listed two players under LIMITED PARTICIPATION: Brandon Graham and Britain Covey.
The Eagles opened Grahamâs practice window to return from injured reserve earlier on Thursday. He was seen wearing a brace on his left arm during practice. Speaking to reporters in the locker room, Graham noted that he only participated in individual drills but he could be ramped up to team drills on Friday. Overall, Graham seemed to be optimistic about his chances of playing in New Orleans. But weâll still need to see how he progresses in practice over the next week.
Covey was listed as limited once again. The Eaglesâ primary punt returner seemingly has a chance to be activated for the Super Bowl. Especially if heâs able to be a full participant in practice at some point prior to the game.
The Eagles listed two players under FULL PARTICIPATION: Brett Toth and C.J. Uzomah.
Toth was upgraded to full after being listed under DNP on Wednesday. Itâs worth noting that heâs the third center option behind Jurgens and Dickerson.
The Eagles opened Uzomahâs practice window to return from IR earlier on Thursday. It remains to be seen if theyâll activate him to have as their third tight end instead of E.J. Jenkins.
