Eagles-Saints Final Injury Report: A.J. Brown ruled out, C.J. Gardner-Johnson questionable

The Philadelphia Eagles issued their third and final official injury report on Friday in advance of their Week 3 road game against the New Orleans Saints.

The Eagles ruled one player OUT: A.J. Brown.

Brown will miss his second straight game and just his third overall since joining the Eagles in 2022. The offense will miss him.

Johnny Wilson fully participated in Friday’s practice after sitting out on Wednesday and Thursday. He’s listed without a game status, so, he’s set to play. With the Eagles likely to temporarily elevate Parris Campbell from the practice squad again, they’ll have five receivers active for Week 3: DeVonta Smith, Britain Covey, Jahan Dotson, Campbell, and Wilson.

The Eagles ruled one player QUESTIONABLE: C.J. Gardner-Johnson.

CJGJ did not practice on Thursday or Friday due to a foot injury. The Inquirer’s Jeff McLane reported that CJGJ’s injury is not a “major concern” but the starting safety is clearly in jeopardy of not playing against his former team. If CJGJ doesn’t play, it’ll be interesting to see exactly how the Eagles handle their defensive back configuration.
