EA Sports made some adjustments to its rankings of the toughest stadiums to play in its latest update for College Football 25 on Thursday.
According to Chase Becotte of Operations Sports and Chris Vannini of The Athletic, LSU has been bumped up to the top spot, replacing Texas A&M, which got knocked all the way down to No. 11. The 12th Man surely won’t be happy with that demotion.
Penn State moved up to No. 2, jumping up three slots, while Ohio is No. 3 (up one slot), Georgia is No. 4 (up one slot) and Alabama is No. 5 (down three slots).
Those adjustments seem to accurately reflect many accountings of the toughest places to play. In June, The Athletic’s Bruce Feldman ranked LSU, Alabama, Penn State, Ohio State and Virginia Tech as the five toughest environments for visiting teams.

The latest update had Virginia Tech down at No. 25, however, a demotion of eight spots from the release of the game.
