‘Ellen DeGeneres of MMA’ – Stephen Thompson issues perfect response to UFC rival claiming he’s a fake nice guy
Stephen ‘Wonderboy’ Thompson is undoubtedly one of the nicest people in MMA – but not everyone is convinced that’s true.
One of Thompson’s welterweight rivals recently claimed that the former title challenger just pretends to be kind on camera and is totally different when they aren’t rolling.

After that, people started sharing stories about their bad experiences with the comedian and it eventually led to her long-time show coming to an end in 2022.
“I’m not even trolling on this one, but I really feel like ‘Wonderboy’ be putting on a role,” Buckley told Parry Punch. “He ain’t as nice as everybody try to claim him to be.
“I try to keep my personality the same with everybody. I feel like ‘Wonderboy’ gave me different kind of vibes. He definitely didn’t show me no love when I was out there at International Fight Week.

Footage of Buckley’s wild conspiracy theory quickly spread on social media.
Thompson saw it and shared his recollection of his meeting with Buckley.

It left him feeling like Thompson is the ‘Ellen DeGeneres of MMA’Credit: GettyThe 41-year-old reminded his UFC colleague that he actually took time out of his day to give him striking advice, which isn’t something the ‘Ellen DeGeneres of MMA’ would do.
“Must’ve forgot that time he asked me for technique advice and I happily gave it to him,” Thompson replied on X

Thompson and Buckley currently don’t know who their next opponents will be.
