Euro 2024 winner – Favourites
England (9/2)
England are among the bookiesā€™ favourites to win Euro 2024. They went close three years ago, losing the final to Italy on penalties, and Gareth Southgate also led them to the semi-finals of the 2018 World Cup.

Southgate and his squad know each other inside out, and there is hope among the fans that Englandā€™s time has come. Having Harry Kane and Jude Bellingham in the ranks certainly helps.

šŸ† Bet on England to win Euro 2024 at 9/2 with Betfred šŸ†

France (4/1)
France tend to be there or thereabouts when the prizes are handed out. Runners-up at the 2022 World Cup, Les Bleus will be looking to be crowned kings of the continent for the first time since 2000.

Didier Deschamps possesses a wealth of experience in the international game and France arguably have more strength in depth than any other side at the tournament. Kylian Mbappe is the cherry on the cake.

šŸ† Bet on France at 4/1 with bet365 šŸ†

Germany (4/1)
Germany were in no great shakes for much of 2022 and 2023. They were dumped out of the last World Cup in the group phase, before losing friendlies to Belgium, Poland, Colombia, Japan, Turkey and Austria.

Things have improved since Julian Nagelsmann replaced Hansi Flick, though, and a sense of belief is beginning to return. This is not the greatest German squad in history, but the Nationalelf will be able to call on home advantage this summer.

šŸ† Bet on Germany at 4/1 with talkSPORT BET šŸ†

Spain (7/1)
Spain won back-to-back European Championships in 2008 and 2012, but their tournament record since then is distinctly mediocre. They were strong at the last Euros three years ago, but current manager Luis de la Fuente is not at the same level as Luis Enrique, his predecessor.

Still, there is a decent blend of youth and experience within the Spanish ranks, and any team with Rodri in it must have a chance.

šŸ† Bet on Spain at 7/1 with VBET šŸ†

Euro 2024 winner – Dark Horses
Portugal (6/1)
Portugal won this competition eight years ago and they will be looking to repeat the feat this summer. Their squad was not particularly outstanding in 2016 and there is much more quality at their disposal this time.

Cristiano Ronaldo may have to put up with a rotation role, but he is a handy player to have waiting in the wings. Elsewhere, Bruno Fernandes, Ruben Dias and Bernardo Silva would walk into most teams at the tournament.

šŸ† Bet on Portugal at 6/1 with Sky Bet šŸ†

Italy (18/1)
The defending champions are not among the leading contenders to lift the trophy this year, but they were not widely backed before Euro 2020 either. Luciano Spalletti is an able coach, yet this might be one of the weakest Italian squads we have seen for some time.

Italy have also been drawn in a tough group alongside Spain, Croatia and Albania. It is hard to see them retaining the trophy this summer.

šŸ† Bet on Italy at 18/1 with Betfred šŸ†

Belgium (25/1)
Several members of Belgiumā€™s golden generation have departed the international scene, although Kevin De Bruyne, Jan Vertonghen and Romelu Lukaku are still around. Elsewhere, the likes of Jeremy Doku and Lois Openda provide an injection of youth.

Belgium will fancy their chances of dominating a group which contains Slovakia, Romania and Ukraine. The question is whether they can knock out a heavyweight later on.

šŸ† Bet on Belgium at 25/1 with bet365 šŸ†

Netherlands (16/1)
The Netherlands are also among the dark horses this summer. There is no shortage of quality in Ronald Koemanā€™s squad, which features Frenkie de Jong, Virgil van Dijk, Matthijs de Ligt and the experienced Gini Wijnaldum.

Memphis Depay has not played much football for Atletico Madrid, though, and there are doubts over where the goals will come from if he is not firing.

šŸ† Bet on Netherlands at 16/1 with talkSPORT BET šŸ†

Euro 2024 – Outsiders
Croatia (80/1)
The biggest overachievers in European football over the last 25 years, Croatia can never be written off. They came third at the World Cup in Qatar and will make life difficult for every team they come up against this summer.

At 38 Luka Modric is a fading force, however, and Croatia have been drawn in a tricky group alongside Spain and Italy. Even so, write them off at your peril.

šŸ† Bet on Croatia at 80/1 with VBET šŸ†

Austria (66/1)
Austria looked good in qualifying under Ralf Rangnick, who has created a team that plays with hunger and intensity. The draw could have been kinder to them, with France and the Netherlands among their opponents in the group phase.

In a huge blow to the Austrians, David Alaba looks set to miss out with a knee injury. That robs Rangnick of his best player.

šŸ† Bet on Austria at 66/1 with Sky Bet šŸ†

Hungary (500/1)
Hungary almost qualified for the Nations League Finals last year, before going unbeaten in their qualifying campaign for the Euros. They will fancy their chances of finishing in the top two of Group A alongside Germany.

Liverpool midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai is Hungaryā€™s most well-known player, but look out for Barnabas Varga too. A late bloomer, the 29-year-old striker has scored four goals in his first nine appearances for the national team.

šŸ† Bet on Hungary at 500/1 with Betfred šŸ†
