Update [Wed 30th Apr 2025, 10:40pm]: Saber Interactive has now confirmed that Evil Dead: The Game is getting delisted on “digital storefronts”, but the servers will remain live. It’s still available on the Xbox Store for now, but probably not for long!

“We can confirm we’ve begun the process of removing the game from digital storefronts. Anyone who has purchased the game will still be able to play it as we plan to keep our servers online for everyone.

We want to extend a sincere thank you to our community, to those who have been part of the game from the very beginning, and those who have recently joined us. We appreciate all of your support.”

Original Story: We’ve got a not-so-groovy update about Evil Dead: The Game, which originally arrived on Xbox Series X|S in 2022.

As highlighted on the game’s subreddit, Evil Dead: The Game has been delisted across multiple storefronts, which has led to speculation Saber could be “preparing to pull the plug” on it completely.

At the time of writing, it is still available on Xbox’s storefront for £8.24 / $9.89, but keep in mind this is a PVP multiplayer experience and Saber Interactive ended new content updates in 2023.

When this game did launch, we went ‘hands on’ and had a great time with it but were worried about the longevity and if its playerbase would stick around.

If we hear any updates or developments, we’ll let you know.
