F1 Imola GP 2024: When and Where to Watch the Race at the Autodromo Internazionale Enzo E Dino Ferrari
Things have started to heat up since Lando Norris defeated Max Verstappen in Miami. And the F1 circus is now moving to Italy. With the next race being the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix, itâs time to see if Max Verstappen continues his winning spree after the Miami hiccup. As we did not get to enjoy the Imola GP last year because of extreme weather, it is finally time to race at the legendary Ferrari track. While this is an exciting event on the F1 calendar, letâs not forget itâs the track on which we lost the F1 legend, Ayrton Senna.
The streets will fill up with fans heading to the Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari starting from May 17th till race day on the 19th. The 4.909 km race was last conquered by Max Verstappen in 2022. With a capacity of 78,000 people, there is enough place for passionate F1 fans to catch the race that was skipped last year owing to the floods. And for everyone who is concerned about what time the festivities will start this weekend, we got you covered.

As usual, the media day will take place on the Thursday before the GP weekend with press conferences lined up for teams on the 16th. This will be followed by 2 free practices on May 17, Friday. Saturday, May 18, will be when the final free practice will take place, followed by the qualifiers for the starting grid on Sunday. May 19th will be the Grand Prix along with Sebastian Vettelâs tribute to Ayrton Senna with his drive around the Imola circuit in the McLaren MP4/8.

Imola Free Practice 1-2: May 17As the track was out of the F1 calendar since 2006 and the 2023 GP was canceled, the teams do not have much recent data. So May 17âs free practice is crucial for the teams to understand the track and align their setups accordingly.

As we move to Italy, we have an afternoon Grand Prix down at Imola. There is a 6% chance of a thunderstorm, so itâs advised to carry an umbrella just in case. Hopefully, the forecast changes, and there will be no rain at the Enzo e Dino Ferrari circuit. Only time will tell if the race this year will be free from incidents on the track.
