FA Cup third-round draw: Fixtures, schedule in full as Arsenal host Liverpool and Newcastle get Sunderland derby showdown

Arsenal will host Liverpool in the standout tie of the FA Cup third-round draw.

As 14-time winners, the Gunners are the most successful team in the knockout competition’s history, while Liverpool won the last of their eight titles when they beat Chelsea on penalties in the 2022 final.

Holders Manchester City have been handed a more generous tie on paper than their two main Premier League title rivals this season. Pep Guardiola’s side will host Championship strugglers Huddersfield Town.

Elsewhere, there is the mouthwatering prospect of a Tyne-Wear derby, with Newcastle United drawn away to bitter rivals Sunderland.
