The third round sees all Premier League and Championship teams enter the competition, with a variety of ties being drawn.

National League side Tamworth, the lowest-ranked team left in the FA Cup, will play Tottenham at The Lamb Ground in what is a huge tie for the club.

They have already beaten two League One sides en route to the third round, but Spurs will present a whole different challenge.

But the biggest shock of the third round so far is Brentford being knocked out by Plymouth, with Argyle sitting bottom of the Championship table.

As for fifth-tier outfit Dagenham & Redbridge, they will face Millwall at The Den while Bromley of League Two travel to Newcastle on Sunday.

Just one other all-Premier League tie was drawn in the third round this season as Aston Villa faced West Ham, winning 2-1 on Friday.

Leeds United will come up against Harrogate Town in a Yorkshire derby at Elland Road.

Meanwhile Frank Lampard’s Coventry City have been drawn at home to Sheffield Wednesday.

This is the first season without replays in the competition and this weekend’s ties will be decided by extra-time and penalties, if needed.
