Fans are loving the Yankees’ trade for Jon Berti

The New York Yankees made a move just before Opening Day, acquiring utility player Jon Berti from the Miami Marlins in a three-team trade on Wednesday.

Berti brings a lot of versatility to the Yankees’ bench, and there’s even a chance he gets the start Thursday against the Houston Astros for the season opener. He has experience mostly playing the middle infield and third base, but he also has some playing time throughout his career at all three outfield spots.

The trade instantly improves the Yankees’ bench and infield depth, which was a major question mark coming out of Spring Training.

Needless to say, fans were loving this move by the Yankees.
