Lil Nas X sparked concerns from his fans on Thursday after a viral video showed him barely clothed walking the streets of Los Angeles. Here’s What The Video Of Lil Nas X Shows
TMZ reported that “someone” recorded the video of Lil Nas X while driving past him at 4 a.m. on Ventura Blvd. The singer was walking alone, singing a tune as the car slowed beside him. He wore white underwear with his chest and legs bare, and white boots on his feet. With his hands on his hips, Nas said, “Hey don’t be late to the party tonight.” When the person asked, “Where at?” the star replied, “You know where at.” Then, Lil Nas X continued singing his tune, strutting down the street, and waving off the person recording by saying “Go ‘head, babe” twice.

In what looks like a jump-cut clip, Nas tells the person recording, “Didn’t I tell you to put the phone down?” He continues walking, talking out loud, and singing. At one point, he seems to be slapping his hands on his body. Later, he kept repeating, “I am serving you b****es” and speaking about a nonspecific party. He also started strutting down the street like a runway, stopping for a drop pose several times.

Then, Lil Nas X asked the person recording for their phone so he could “throw it away.” The driver didn’t compile, but Nas said he “hates phones.” Before the 1:41 video ended, he asked the driver why they were still around and not telling everyone about the party. The person recording then seemingly drove away before the video ended. TMZ also shared a few photos that seemingly show Lil Nas X picking up the traffic cone and putting it on his head.

LAPD Confirms Unnamed Man Was Arrested & Hospitalized—Arrest Record Later Names Lil Nas X (UPDATE)
According to Variety, the Los Angeles Police Department confirmed that they took “an incoherent, nude man” into custody and hospitalized him around 5:50 a.m. The agency did not name Lil Nas X (real name Montero Hill). The outlet reports that the description and location from the LAPD match the video TMZ published early Thursday. However, the agency reportedly confirmed that they received calls and complaints on Thursday morning about a nude man acting strangely in the street. Officers, per Variety via LAPD, arrested the man for battery of an officer. Law enforcement transported him to a hospital after suspecting a potential overdose, the outlet said on Thursday, after TMZ’s report cited similar information from “law enforcement sources.” At this time, Variety, TMZ, or the LAPD has not provided an update on the unnamed man’s condition.

While LAPD did not initially name Lil Nas X to Variety, an arrest record has since surfaced confirming LAPD arrested the singer. CNN reports that PIO Charles Miller said officers detained Montero Lamar Hill in the Studio City area before taking him into custody.

“He was transported to a local hospital for a possible overdose and placed under arrest for battery on a police officer,” Miller said.

CNN reports that an arrest record confirms Lil Nas is being held at the Valley Jail in Van Nuys, Los Angeles.

On the other hand, other comments have surfaced, asking whether the video is part of a music promotional stunt.

Hoping Lil Nas X gets the help that he needs…and if this was all for promo, I still hope that he gets the help that he needs.

In the first one, he’s seen in similar white boots to the viral video. His comment section on each post is closed, and a few are reels featuring music. Other photos seemingly show the furniture and spaces inside what looks like a home.
