Fantasy Football Start ‘Em, Sit ‘Em Week 10: Drake Maye, Rhamondre Stevenson
The New England Patriots fell last Sunday to the Tennessee Titans to earn their seventh loss of the season, but Week 10 brings a battle of first-round rookie quarterbacks that could certainly thrill.
Drake Maye has been more of a dual threat than expected, often leading the team in rushing yards when he’s on the field, while still looking to push the ball down the field.
At the same time, running back Rhamondre Stevenson hasn’t been a consistent rusher for most of the season, but he’s still finding the end zone.
Should fantasy owners deploy either player when the Patriots face the Chicago Bears on Sunday at Soldier Field? Let’s find out.
Fantasy Football Start ‘Em, Sit ‘Em Week 10: Drake MayeMaye has been fun to watch in his four starts this season despite the fact that New England’s only win in those games was when Maye was in concussion protocol and Jacoby Brissett led them to victory.
In his three full starts, he’s averaged 20 points per game, which would make him the seventh-highest-scoring quarterback this season. However, against a defense that has allowed the fewest points to opposing quarterbacks, this may be one to go with another option.
Verdict: Sit ‘Em
Fantasy Football Start ‘Em, Sit ‘Em Week 10: Rhamondre StevensonStevenson has had a disappointing season in 2024 after signing a huge extension this past offseason. This year, he’s rushed for just 438 yards on a career-low 3.8 yards per attempt.
However, Stevenson’s finding the end zone more than ever before, already scoring seven times (six on the ground and once through the air) which is more than he has in any season before.
Considering there are four teams on a bye this week and the Bears are allowing the 12th-most fantasy points to opposing running backs, Stevenson may be a decent option this week.
Verdict: Start ‘Em
