Feature: Last Orders! What Are You Getting Before The Xbox 360 Store Closes?
July 29th is just around the corner

Here we go then, folks! We know we’ve mentioned this a ton recently, but after Monday, you won’t be able to buy anything on the Xbox 360 store again! This weekend marks your last chance to grab whatever you want before it closes.
The Xbox 360 store closing date is July 29th, 2024, after which it’ll permanently go offline. This will affect hundreds of digital games as well as free demos, themes and more, including many items that are exclusive to the 360 marketplace.
As you’re probably aware, Microsoft has put a large number of Xbox 360 games on sale until July 29th, the full list of which we’ve provided elsewhere on Pure Xbox (you’ll find it below). It’s definitely worth looking through those – but keep in mind that many titles have since received ports for Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S.
Also, if you’re worried about backwards compatible games, the good news is that purchasable Xbox 360 titles on the modern Xbox Store will not be getting delisted on July 29th. As far as we know, those aren’t going anywhere.
Oh, and the Xbox 360 servers won’t shut down on July 29th either! It’s just the storefront that’s closing, so multiplayer services will remain available. Unless you run into any major issues, you’ll still be able to re-download your old purchases too.
So, what are you getting before the Xbox 360 store closes? Let us know in the poll and comments!
