First Glimpse Of Donald Glover’s Thriller ‘Bando Stone & The New World’ Revealed: Watch
A movie-goer has revealed a first look of the trailer for Donald Glover‘s pulse-pounding film Bando Stone & The New World. Glover premiered the trailer on Thursday night (June 27) during a screening for A Quiet Place: Day One, starring Lupita Nyong’o.
A question is posed to viewers during the two-minute teaser: “What are you when the world ends?” In the trailer, a bewildered Glover paces while wearing a robe and slippers, before ending up at a vacated post office, an apparent hotel, and convenient store. As he changes into presumed free clothing and believes he’s alone, a woman appears with a shotgun pointing directly at him.
“Who are you?” she asks. “It’s me, Bando Stone. The singer. ‘Starlight,’ ‘Let’s Make It Happen,’ ‘Party Monkey?’” he says as he tries to familiarize her, although she fails to know who he is. “Alright you don’t know who I am, that’s fine,” he says as she cocks the gun back.
Despite their rough start, the two eventually team up to help each other through a series of unusual events that take place.

Produced by RCA and Glover’s production company, Gilga, the film stars Glover (a.k.a. Childish Gambino) and actress Jessica Allain (Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Fear and Thriller).
As an official synopsis has yet to be revealed, the comedy-sci-fi film follows singer Bando Stone after he wakes up to a post-apocalyptic new reality. Perplexed, he wanders around the ghost town of a city with the thought that he’s the last person on earth. However, after his run-in with a gun-toting woman and her child, the three of them learn that they aren’t alone and need to stick together.
The trio now has to deal with prehistoric creatures, alien-resembling figures, and even perceived racism — post apocalypse. And in order to survive, they have to band together.
