Forgotten Nigerian striker scores Ronaldo-esque goal for Tunisian club
Forgotten Super Eagles striker Kingsley Eduwo has shared a video of himself scoring with an overhead kick in Club Africain’s Tunisian Ligue 1 game against Academica in the CAF Confederations Cup, Soccernet.ng reports.
Eduwo has been superb for Club Africain since he joined the club from Al Arabi Kuwait. The Nigerian striker has registered twelve goals and one assist in 20 games for the North African giants, and he is slowly becoming a club hero.
The 27-year-old is also slowly growing a penchant for scoring unbelievable goals. The latest in his collection was in the CAF Confederations Cup against Angolan side Academica on March 3.

Eduwo received a pass inside the box, controlled it with his chest, and sent a wicked overhead kick into the net. His strike made it 1-0, but Club Africain ended up drawing the game 1-1. Unfortunately for Club Africain, that result ensured they were knocked out of the Confederations Cup at the expense of Nigerian club Rivers United.
For Eduwo, he seems to be making a name for himself after stints at Esperance, Al Orooba, CS Sfaxien, and Al Najaf. If he continues with this form in Tunisia, he could fancy getting a Super Eagles call-up despite the array of striking options that are available.
Eduwo is one of the best products of the Nigeria Premier Football League. He had stints at Sunshine Stars and Lobi Stars before leaving the country in 2018.
