Former Saints guard Jahri Evans moves another step toward the Pro Football Hall of Fame
Former New Orleans Saints guard Jahri Evans has advanced to the next stage of voting for the Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2025, being one of 50 that was selected from the 167 modern era nominees.
Evans was named a finalist for the Class of 2024 and a semifinalist for the Class of 2023.
Drafted by New Orleans in 2006, his resume includes six Pro Bowl selections, five All-Pro selections (four First-Team All-Pro), being named to the Saints 50th Anniversary Team and the NFL 2010s All-Decade Team, as well as a Super Bowl XLIV championship.
Next month, Evans will be inducted into the Saints Ring of Honor during halftime of their Week 11 matchup against the Cleveland Browns. He is also a member of the Saints Hall of Fame, the Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame and the Greater New Orleans Sports Hall of Fame. He has served as an assistant offensive line coach with the Saints since 2003.
