Forza Horizon 5 Makes It Easier To Acquire Cars From Past Updates
Horizon Backstage returns!
Playground Games is unleashing yet another Forza Horizon 5 update this week, and it introduces a welcome feature – now that the 2021 racer has had so many updates over the last three years or so.
Returning from Forza Horizon 4 is ‘Horizon Backstage’; a feature that basically allows you to acquire old cars that you may have missed from previous updates. From October 10th, “a growing selection of ‘Hard to find’ cars from previous Series” will be available in Horizon Backstage, with two more cars added each week to build out the collection.
Here’s how you’ll acquire tokens to spend backstage:
“Horizon Backstage cars can be purchased only with Horizon Backstage Passes (unlockable twice a week, as 40 Points reward in the Festival Playlist and/or by Forzathon shop for 1000 Forzathon points) through the Horizon Backstage Shop.”
Forza Horizon 5 has been heavily supported since launch, with monthly updates bringing new cars, features and more to the title. Horizon Backstage will come in really handy nowadays, especially for players who’ve picked up this Xbox Game Pass racer sometime after release.
For now, this update is paired with the ‘Back to the 90s’ monthly series update, but we do expect these to wind down in the not too distant future. Horizon Backstage was introduced late into FH4’s life cycle before bigger content updates dried up, so if Horizon 5 follows suit, we might not be too far from that point. Keep enjoying these big FH5 updates while you can!
