UPDATE: Oct. 9, 2024, 8:09 p.m. EDT This story has been updated with the latest pricing and availability of Prime Day Kindle book deals.
Amazon sales like Prime Big Deal Days are one of the best times to buy a Kindle on the cheap, but they can also be a great time to pick up e-books.
On the second and final day of sitewide event that is Prime Big Deal Days, Amazon has marked down tons of e-books, from self help to fiction and children’s books, for prices as low as $1.99.
The sheer number of Prime Day Kindle book deals means you’ll likely have to do a little digging to find what you want to read — but to make your job easier, we put together a list of 16 of the best Kindle book deals available so far. (As a note, these markdowns are in comparison to the regular print prices of these books). Check them out below, and be sure to check out everything else on sale during Prime Big Deal Days and follow along with our live blog.
Why we like itObviously, taste in books is very personal, but for anyone out there who likes decade-spanning series about the complexities of female friendship, the Neapolitan novels fit the bill. You’ve probably seen this book recommended before, but I have to add my endorsement. When I finally picked up this series earlier this summer, I found myself unable to read anything else until I finished all four books — currently, my friend who I lent the first book is in the same cycle (and for anyone who’s read the series, yes, we do text about how much we hate Nino).
Mashable Deals
Basically, if you’ve read or are planning on reading the first one, I’m willing to bet you’ll be in need of the fourth one at some point — might as well get it for $3.99. If you need to start the series, the first book, My Brilliant Friend, went on sale for the second day of Prime Day. And when you’re done reading the books, you can check out the show.
