“I am happy how hard they played. They wanted to play dirty so that motivated me play really hard! And I think that helped us to keep going,” Williams expressed after the game was over. In the next half, Fenerbahce hit 34 points whereas CBK Mersin could only score 31. Ultimately, the game ended in Fenerbahce’s favor as they scored 82 points whereas the Mersin could only account for 69. Thus, Fenerbahce won their eighth straight game in the contest and the chief architect behind their win was Williams.
The Seattle Storm star played for 32 minutes in the game, hitting 23 points with 8-14 field goals. Other than being the top scorer of the game, she also had 9 rebounds and an efficiency score of 27.
