GAC Drives Global Ambitions at Canton Fair Music & Food Festival

GAC Group is putting its global ambitions in gear at the 138th Canton Fair Music & Food Festival, using the high-profile Guangzhou event to showcase its latest smart vehicles and reaffirm its ‘Threefold Global Strategy’.

As the official auto partner of the upcoming 15th National Games, GAC is also tapping into the city’s sporting spotlight to highlight its role as a symbol of Chinese manufacturing strength.

Held at the west plaza of the Canton Fair Complex, the festival opened on October 15 with a vibrant mix of Cantonese opera, heritage crafts, and nearly 40 food and beverage brands.Ā 

GAC’s presence adds a tech-forward twist to the ‘Taste Guangzhou, Savor the National Games’ theme, blending smart mobility with the city’s cultural and culinary DNA.

Tech on DisplayGAC’s booth features a lineup of flagship models—including the AION V, AION UT, and the luxury M8—set against immersive lifestyle scenes.Ā 

The brand’s message: cars are more than machines, they are mobile living spaces.Ā 

Through interactive displays and ‘experience-driven design’, GAC invites international visitors to explore the intelligent features, long-range capabilities, and scenario-based adaptability of its latest EVs.

The company has built production bases in Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, and Nigeria, with over 570 overseas service points.Ā 

Their AION V recently entered the European market, marking a key step into the high-end EV segment.

At the festival, GAC is also courting international sports operators and brands, positioning its vehicles—especially those with V2L power supply and L2 driving assistance—as ideal for global sporting scenarios.Ā 

The AION V’s E-NCAP five-star safety rating underscores its readiness for international deployment.

Tailored for the Bay AreaWith the 15th National Games jointly hosted by Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao, GAC has upgraded its service fleet to match.Ā 

Models like the GAC E9 and HYPTEC HT now feature bilingual Cantonese-English systems and enhanced navigation for cross-border travel—underscoring the brand’s commitment to seamless mobility across the Greater Bay Area.

Culture Meets CraftIn a nod to Guangzhou’s culinary heritage, GAC has embedded its vehicles into the festival’s food-centric atmosphere.Ā 

From reimagined dining spaces to mascot-themed displays, the brand draws a parallel between Lingnan craftsmanship and its own pursuit of quality and innovation.
