Manchester United Women can confirm that midfielder Leah Galton has signed a contract extension with the football club.

The winger joined United in 2018 as part of the club’s inaugural squad and was an integral part of our FA Women’s Championship-winning side that same season.

Leah has gone on to make 125 appearances in red, scoring 36 goals – as a key part of the team’s record-breaking 2022/23 season: finishing second in the WSL, securing Champions League qualification for the first time, and reaching a maiden FA Cup final.

A delighted Leah Galton signs her contract extension at Carrington.

Leah Galton said: “I’m delighted to continue my journey with Manchester United and want to thank my friends, family and team-mates for their continued support – along with our wonderful fans, who have been great to me throughout my time here.”

Marc Skinner said: “Leah continues to lead by example, on and off the pitch, and epitomises everything a professional footballer should be.

“We are delighted to see her commit her future to the club and look forward to many more winning experiences together.”
