Though the pair have kept an incredibly low profile since getting together, sources near the couple have divulged a few details about their romance, which Bündchen insists did not start until after her divorce from Tom Brady.

February 5, 2025: Baby Bündchen-Valente is here! On February 5, TMZ reported that the couple welcomed their first child. The baby’s name, sex, and exact birthdate haven’t yet been confirmed. Per the outlet, both Bündchen and the baby are happy and healthy.

Just a week before the news of the baby’s birth broke, the supermodel shared an inspirational message on Instagram about creating your own happiness. “Happiness is an inside job,” she wrote alongside a video montage of—what else?—herself romping around the beach in a bikini. “Remember, you are the only one who has the power to create the life you want to live.”

A new partner and a new baby, all within a couple years after one of the most talked-about divorces in Hollywood? Sure seems like Gisele Bündchen is making her own happiness!

October 28, 2024: People breaks the news that Bündchen is pregnant. The Brazilian supermodel shares two children with Brady, while this is Valente’s first. “They started out as friends, but have been seriously dating for over a year,” a source added the next day. “She’s excited about the baby and feels good. She’s several months along and planning a home birth.”

June 15, 2024: Amid split rumors, the pair are seen strolling on the beach. A source later says that Bündchen is “secure and happy.”

March 23, 2024: After tabloids spread cheating rumors, Bündchen hits back. “That is a lie,” she said during a New York Times interview about her cookbook, Nourish. “This is something that happens to a lot of women who get blamed when they have the courage to leave an unhealthy relationship and are labeled as being unfaithful. They have to deal with their communities. They have to deal with their family. Of course for me, it just happens to be a little bit amplified.”

September 24, 2023: Bündchen expresses zero regret over her divorce. “I look into my life and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I wouldn’t have any other life,” she tells CBS.

August 15, 2023: Bündchen is spotted leaving Valente’s class with her daughter, Vivian.

March 22, 2023: In a Vanity Fair cover story, Bündchen addresses the Joaquim of it all, saying, “I think, at this point, unfortunately, because I’m divorced, I’m sure that they’re going to try to attach me to anything…I’m so grateful to know all of [the Valente brothers], because not only have they helped me and helped my kids, but they have become great friends, and Joaquim especially. He’s our teacher and, most importantly, he’s a person that I admire and that I trust. It’s so good to have that kind of energy, to have my kids around that type of energy.”

January 2023: Bündchen and Valente go for a run together. Later a source tells People, “Gisele adores and trusts [Joaquim] and has been spending a lot of time with him, but I don’t think it’s a traditional dating scenario…They have a deep personal relationship, and he is a teacher to her and the kids. Whether or not it will ever become more than that rests on the table.”

October 28, 2022: Bündchen announces her and Brady’s divorce has just been finalized, posting to Instagram Stories, “With much gratitude for our time together, Tom and I have amicably finalized our divorce,” Bündchen wrote. “My priority has always been and will continue to be our children whom I love with all my heart. The decision to end a marriage is never easy but we have grown apart and while it is, of course, difficult to go through something like this, I feel blessed for the time we had together and only wish the best for Tom always.” The pair married in 2009.

February 23, 2022: Bündchen posts a montage of herself and Valente sparring and praises him and his brothers, writing, “Thank you @ValenteBrothers for being awesome teachers and for making training so much fun. I am looking forward to keep improving. Let’s go! 🤛🏼”

Detractors will later point to this as evidence of an affair, but they are literally just fighting.… (And Brady had a sense of humor about it at the time). Bündchen and Brady’s son Benjamin was actually the reason she and Valente met, as he took classes at the Valente Brothers jujitsu school in Miami.
