Glastonbury 2024 Lineup Includes SZA, Shania Twain, Dua Lipa, Coldplay

The Glastonbury Festival lineup for 2024 has been announced and will include SZA, Shania Twain, Dua Lipa, and Coldplay.The festival includes a strong supporting lineup for the June 26-30 festival returning to Somerset’s Worthy Farm. Coldplay will become the first act to headline the Pyramid stage five times, with their last appearance in 2016. Their first headline performance came in 2002 with only one album underneath their belt.
Meanwhile, Dua Lipa recently announced her third album Radical Optimism, with singles “Houdini” and “Training Season” quickly racking up listens. Dua Lipa first played Glastonbury in 2016, then again in 2017. R&B singer SZA will mark her first Glastonbury appearance this year.
The Glastonbury lineup was announced later than usual, with Madonna and Bruce Springsteen both rumored to make an appearance. Unless either of those acts appears as an unannounced secret set, it looks like those rumors were unfounded. It’s also worth noting that 2024 is the first time in the festival’s history that two of the top three headliners are female.The festival received criticism last year for headliners Arctic Monkeys, Guns N’ Roses, and Elton John featuring no female talent. Festival organizer Emily Eavis took to the press to defend that lineup, saying the bookings were a “pipeline problem” in the music industry rather than an intentional overlooking of women.
