Grand Blue Season 2 Finally Confirmed After 6 Years
After a long wait of six years, the popular seinen anime Grand Blue is finally getting a sequel. This much-awaited sequel is definitely going to shake the anime community once released. Iori and his diving group are finally going to be in action again!
Although not much information on the release date has been revealed yet, all the existing information on the sequel will be revealed here.
On the 29th of September, the animeās official website, as well as the Twitter page made the confirmation for the second installment of the anime. The information on the cast and staff was also revealed.

What Happened In Season 1 of Grand Blue?
Season 1 of the anime ended with Iori and everyone from the Peek-a-Boo club on their little trip to Miyakojima. While the episode started with a lot of diving, Iori was quite bummed out as he had to sit it out. This was a consequence of his failing the diving test.

Chisa, who was concerned for him, went to check on him and actually managed to cheer him up. This is quite a surprise as Chisa normally acts quite rudely to Iori, so her cute side also came off as a shock.
After this, they quickly switched gears after coming back to their lodge, where they started the drinking game āOtoriā, in which they poured a lot of drinks into a barrel. During this, each person had to make a speech, and everyone would take a sip out of their cups.
After their little drinking game, the night concluded peacefully after Iori bonded with all his club members. The final episode concluded after everyone returned back to their college the next day.

In case youāre wondering what will happen in season 2 of Grand Blue, be assured itās going to be just as good as the first season was. The anime left off at the 21st chapter of the manga, so if anyone canāt wait for the animeās release, you may start reading from chapter 22 of Grand Blue.
If the second season of Grand Blue follows the order of the manga, then itāll first feature all the girls of the diving club having a party. This sudden party was an idea that came up when Aina noticed that itās always the guys over there that had parties, got drunk, and had a lot of fun.
