Grizzlies’ GG Jackson Responds to Child’s LeBron James Troll: ‘I Gave Him 31 Bro’

GG Jackson was one of the few bright spots for the Memphis Grizzlies this past season, earning All-Rookie second-team honors after averaging 14.6 points and 4.1 rebounds per game.

And that, along with one performance in particular, has earned him some bragging rights:

Damichael Cole @DamichaelCA kid just walked up and told GG Jackson that LeBron James would lock him up.

Jackson isn’t lying. During a 123-120 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers on April 12, Jackson indeed scored 31 points. There’s only one tiny little detail he left out when responding to the trolling child—James put up 37 points, nine boards and five assists himself during the game.

But Jackson played a heroic 40 minutes, as the Grizzlies only had eight healthy players they could suit up for the contest. And if nothing else, being able to say you put 31 points on James and the Lakers is quite the flex.
