An English subbed teaser trailer for Guilty Gear Strive: Dual Rulers dropped at Anime Expoâs Guilty Gear Strive event. It lets us know the new anime will be here sometime in 2025, and also shares some information on the cast.
According to the trailer, Issei Miyazaki plays Sin Kiske, Jouji Nakata plays Sol Badguy, Yui Ishikawa plays Unika, and Tomokazu Sugita is the Narrator.
Guilty Gear Strive: Dual Rulers is being made at SANZIGEN, with Shigeru Morikawa (a.k.a. Yuu Kou) of GekijĆban Argonavis: RyĆ«sei no Obligato helming the project as director. The person in charge of series scripts is Norimitsu Kaiho, who is known for working on School-Live! and Astra Lost in Space.
The new anime is supposed to be welcoming to both newbies and people who are already fans of the franchise.

After the decline of the once robust fields of science and technology, a new energy source known as magic fuels the modern era. Humanity creates forbidden biological weapons: Gears. Those Gears eventually stand against humanity in a rebellion. Although they manage to overcome in the struggle for survival known as the Crusades, humanityâs losses are so great that even after several decades pass, their emotional wounds remain unable to fully heal. Sin Kiske, the child of a human and a Gear, heads to his father Ky and mother Dizzyâs wedding ceremony. Their wedding breaks the ultimate taboo: a union between a human and a Gear. Even with the world at peace, it took many years for such a ceremony to come to fruition. Despite the complex array of emotions surrounding it, the wedding ceremony is met with blessings. When suddenly, a mysterious girl appears⊠The fated child inheriting Gear bloodâand the mysterious girl who despises Gears. Their meeting would shake the world.
