In the first chapter, players had the possibility of having romantic relationships with some characters. In Hades 2, however, the developers have decided to further develop this functionality and give players the opportunity to create bonds with their companions. Obviously, not all of them will be of the love type and result in a relationship, but it’s good to know that there are more possibilities in Hades 2 than in its predecessor.

One thing to take into consideration in this second chapter is the fact that you can carry out activities with the other characters, such as taking a bath in the bathhouse or going fishing. Both activities, in fact, are very important for developing your relationship with the characters present in the game. Fortunately, there don’t seem to be any particular constraints, so you can decide to take part in these activities with anyone.

As in the first chapter, also in Hades 2, developing a relationship with a character will lead to obtaining specific scenes. Consequently, if you intend to be able to witness these romantic scenes between your character and the one you have decided to romance, you will absolutely have to take part in some extra activities.

However, since the game is still in Early Access, we don’t have access to everything the game has to offer. It seems, for example, that even bringing characters into the tavern is an action that can help strengthen the bond with the latter. However, we are not sure about this. This is still unexplored territory and we will soon update it if we learn more details.

In any case, the developers have taken the romance issue in Hades 2 really seriously. They have taken what was designed for the first chapter and tried to modify it to add new features to make it even more in line with what could be real life.
