Hailey Bieber’s Rhode Office Is the Ultimate Clean Girl Interior
When Hailey Bieber and Maison Trouvaille’s Erick Garcia first walked into Rhode’s office in Beverly Hills, it was…a masculine space: Heavy woods, dark leather chairs, and large-scale furniture—a great style for the previous, hulking, action star tenant. But perhaps the antithesis of Bieber’s taste in interiors, the social-media appointed face of the minimalist, squeaky-clean “clean girl” aesthetic. “I wanted it to feel like a calming, relaxed, vibey place,” Bieber tells Vogue. “I want people to step in and be like, ‘Oh yeah, this feels like the world of Rhode.’”
While wondering how to go from this to that, Garcia noticed Bieber pull out a Rhode lip tint. A lightbulb moment happened for them both: what if they had an elaborate wall-spanning bronze mirror, right when the elevator opened? “You check your fit, you can take a little picture—it’s just a fun thing to first step into the office,” Bieber says. Garcia also adds that for a beauty brand, a statement mirror is a matter of function: “We wanted her, and her team, to be able to try things and shoot content.” The earth-toned color, meanwhile, was a fun nod to her consistently sold-out Espresso lint tint.
