“At first it was really painful and it was annoying to miss the last five or ten minutes of the game,” Kane has been quoted saying.
READ MORE ON HARRY KANEThere was real concern about Kane’s availability immediately after the incident with Bayern sporting director Max Eberl reported to have said: “If Harry leaves the pitch, then it’s something.
“It doesn’t look good… now I hope he’s made of sturdy English stuff.”
However, there was more optimism about Kane’s knock after the match finished.
Bayern boss Vincent Kompany said: “I’m not a doctor, but I hope that maybe it will be enough for Wednesday.”
Meanwhile, Bayern CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen told journalists: “He took a hit. But as the doctors said, it’s probably nothing serious. We’ll have to look at it again tomorrow [Sunday].”
Kane has made a superb start to the season having scored ten goals in just seven appearances.
And four of those goals came in Bayern’s Champions League opener as they romped to a 9-2 victory over Croatian side Dinamo Zagreb.

In what was Kane’s first season at Bayern, their 11-year stranglehold of the Bundesliga title was loosened by Xabi Alonso’s Leverkusen.
