Harry Kane scores against Tottenham before missing one of the worst penalties you’ll ever see
Harry Kane spectacularly missed the chance to complete a quick-fire double in his latest Tottenham reunion.
The former Spurs striker lined up for Bayern Munich in their pre-season friendly at the Allianz Arena, scoring just 12 minutes into the game.

He controlled Michael Olise’s pass brilliantly before firing a low shot past Guglielmo Vicario.
As expected, there was no celebration from the England captain as he showed respect for his former club.
Kane was handed the perfect opportunity to add to his tally just moments later.

The goalscorer stepped up from 12 yards only to slip as he struck the ball, sending it soaring over the bar and into the crowd.
His miss spared Palhinha’s blushes as he returned to his parent club just days after leaving.
Although it won’t spare Kane’s blushes, with one fan declaring: “Worst penalty I’ve ever seen.”
It’s Kane’s second appearance against his old club since completing a £100million switch to Germany in 2023.
Kane had made a cameo appearance off the bench at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium last summer.

If triggered, the clause would see Palhinha complete a £26million switch to north London.
Kane’s miss bore a striking resemblance to his shocking miss against France at the 2022 World Cup.
On that occasion, having already scored from the spot, he missed the chance to equalise for the Three Lions in their quarter-final defeat.
That miss was Kane’s last in a competitive match from 12 yards and is only the 11th of his career.
Overall, he has converted from the spot 89 times, with 21 of those coming for Bayern.

Kane is the first player to achieve the feat in his first two seasons in the league.
Kane’s record against SpursKane’s goal was his first against Spurs since leaving for Bayern two summers ago.
However, neither of his two meetings with his old side have been in competitive fixtures.
The two clubs met in a pre-season match at Spurs last summer just days after a clash in Seoul, South Korea as part of their respective Asian tours.
On that occasion, he failed to find the target after coming off the bench, having missed the match in Asia following Euro 2024.
