Thereâs no question Taylor Swiftâs Eras Tour has been good for the economy in virtually every city where itâs landed. Like, really good. As the powerhouse singer makes her way through Europe (with Paramore opening) over the summer, sheâs even impacting train bookings, which have seen a massive spike for trips such as Zurich to Milan, according to Trainline. Thanks to Swift, gig-jetting has recently reached a feverish pitch, with Priceline reporting searches for hotels in her tourâs cities rising majorly over last year during the same period â with a 1,200 percent jump in Hamburg, Germany, for example.
It doesnât hurt that thereâs a lot of exciting newness in hospitality throughout both perennial hot spots and quieter cities that are now being thrust into Swiftiesâ consciousness. Because Europe is so easy to get around â remember those trains! â a pilgrimage to see the megawatt singer is also an invitation to explore further.
