Heung-min Son provided an assist on his Tottenham return for Brennan Johnson’s stoppage-time winner against Brighton.
The South Korean had been on international duty at the Asian Cup, before his country exited at the semi-final stage during the week.

Son made a swift return to Spurs ahead of their crucial clash against Brighton and proved his worth as a late substitute in the dying moments of a 2-1 comeback win.
Ange Postecoglou’s men broke down the left after the Seagulls missed a glorious chance to score the winner themselves.
The ball was played to Son and he sent a fizzing low cross towards the back post, with Johnson netting to seal all three points.
It sparked wild scenes at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as Spurs climbed above Aston Villa into the top four.

Brighton took the lead on the afternoon when Pascal Gross scored from the penalty spot following a foul on Danny Welbeck.
They held on until the break but Pape Matar Sarr equalised for the hosts as he turned in from close range after his initial pass across the box was deflected.
As the minutes filtered out, it looked as though both sides would hold onto a point as they both eye European qualification.
However, it was Spurs who emerged victorious at the full-time whistle as Son and Johnson combined for the late winner.

Son’s assist was his sixth of the season in the Premier League, adding to the 12 goals he has scored himself.
League action is all that Spurs have left to play for this season with no European football and early exits in the FA Cup and League Cup.
